Directors & Management

Noreen Griffin:  Director, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Ms. Griffin has over 25 years experience in providing entrance and exit strategies for pure start-up and/or embattled companies. Ms. Griffin has owned and operated her own consulting firm in Washington, DC, as well as serving as CFO and Vice President of a number of small public companies over the last 10 years. In addition, Ms. Griffin has served as lead negotiator on a number of international contracts in Africa.

Keith Michon  Director and Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Michon’s background in finance and business management uniquely positions him for his role with Americas Waste to Energy.  As a Certified Public Accountant, Mr. Michon relies on over 19 years of experience in accounting, finance, tax, sales and project management to provide the company with day-to-day project oversight.

Mr. Michon has a Bachelor of Science and a Masters in Accounting from Brigham Young University and spent seven years with Arthur Anderson becoming well versed in domestic tax regulations and requirements. His management skills allow him to manage projects from inception to execution including issues such as budgeting, growth management and financial planning.

Mr. Michon parlayed his education and Arthur Anderson experience into a position with McKesson as Manager and subsequent Director of their Treasury and Tax department, later becoming a Client Executive with McKesson for the past four years. Here he was able to develop customer specific programs that allowed projects to succeed and grow over time.

James A. Griffin:  Executive Director

Mr. Griffin has a Degree in law in additional to becoming a Physician’s assistant with 20 years of experience in the field of medicine. Mr. Griffin has practiced corporate law for the last twenty years and has acted as an officer and director of an oil and gas exploration.  Mr. Griffin was also involved in the raising of funds for the public company during his tenure. In addition, Mr. Griffin has developed medical protocols for the residency staff, acted as Assistant Medical Director, assisted in research projects including an early detection of Kaposi’s Sarcoma in 1984, started a triage unit, a surgical and dermatological clinic, colonoscopy clinic, podiatry and G.I. clinic. He supervised 60 part-time centres and their main multi-disciplinary health centre in Manhattan.  His work included development of medical and staffing procedures, regulatory and administrative work, corporate compliance, HIPAA regulations, staffing, community outreach, community relations, medical record oversight, team building, medical and patient education, as well as working as a clinician (P.A.). He also assisted in developing health centres for other medical entities.

Robert W. Wilson: Director and Vice President

Robert Wilson has over 15 years documentation, IT, design, marketing, and web communication experience and has served as Web Systems Director for various small cap corporations.  Working in all aspects of communication, documentation, design and online programming, Robert brings a unique well-rounded knowledge to any project. Mr. Wilson is currently President of Pixelheads, Inc., a 10 year company serving the IT, web and marketing needs of several small cap companies and Director of Technology for Griffin Enterprises, Inc., a corporate solutions service company.

Kathleen Witt:  Chief Operating Officer

Kathleen Witt has over 25 years of documentation, IT design and web communication experience and has served as Project Manager for Electronic Data System (EDS), Sabre and American Airlines. Kathleen brings a unique well-rounded knowledge to any project. Over the last five years she has been the Project Manager for a the Miami North Terminal Project, a 5.4 Billion dollar expansion of the Miami International Airport, where she is managing American Airlines funding of 60 Million dollars for infrastructure and computer terminal upgrades. Her role also involves developing and track detailing project tasks, dependencies, resources, start and finish dates, and milestone completion criteria for 60 plus projects. She plans, directs, and co-ordinates the teams activities to manage and implement project and/or interrelated project from contract/proposal initiation to final operational stage. She has been instrumental in creating communication plans, ensuring that appropriate information is exchanged among key stakeholders. At American Airlines, she was responsible for monitoring and reviewing all project economics to include cost, operational budgets, staffing requirements, resource and risk.
